Why do you need copywriters.
I often got a quizzical look when I told others that I joined running classes. They asked: “Why do you need to pay to learn something so natural?”
It reminds me of something similar: “Why do I need a copywriter? We can all write, right? It doesn’t make sense to pay when I can do it myself.”
Even as a copywriter, I wondered about this question. Recently, I finally understand a bit more. Of course, I can explain all about how copywriters can make business writing more consistent, professional, SEO friendly, and enhance brand visibility, etc. While these are absolutely true and so important to the business, the two biggest reasons, in my opinion, are time and reflection.
Hire a copywriter helps you save time. Yes, you can write it yourself and save some money, but compared to money (which you can soon earn more), you can never buy back time. Instead of spending time on something that is not your focus, why not leave it to a copywriter? You can concentrate more on your profession and be ready for a stellar performance that you can’t even imagine before.
Another reason I thought of is more abstract but so helpful. In my ongoing copywriting learning journey, I try asking as many people about my concerns and questions. Often, people might not give the direct answers I am seeking, but through continuous discussions, I start to understand what I want. Hiring a copywriter allows you this chance. You begin to understand your business and yourself more through discussions with your copywriter, as you need to provide the most suitable information for them to write about your business. It helps you reflect and home in on your business’s core and strategies. It may not give a visible result in the beginning, but that important bit paves the way for you to have a fulfilling and long-lasting business.
